redbull energy drink, it’s a carbonated beverage containing caffeine as well as other ingredients like taurine, glucuronolactone, B vitamins (niacin, pantothenic acid, B6, B12), and inositol.
Combination of red bull ingredients has a beneficial effect/pros on human health but it also has a some adverse effects/cons.

Advantages
• Energy boost Caffeine in red bull is a central nervous system stimulant. It can reduce fatigue by blocking neurotransmitter called adenosine which promote relaxation and promote sleep.
• Alertness Caffeine increases alertness by same mechanism by blocking adenosine and provide quick energy burst, it also increases heart rate and blood pressure as your fight and flight response.
• Boost workout Another ingredient of red bull Taurine which is an amino acid, its exact function and how its function is still unknown, but it is believed that it helps in muscle function physiological processes.
• Improve memory. Adenosine antagonism contributes to stimulation of muscarinic cholinergic receptors; these receptors have been linked to improvement in higher cognitive functions such as memory. In new studies it is found that red bull can improve short term memory after the consumption of red bull, but the effect was not shown in sugar free red bull which raise the question mark.

Disadvantages
• Addictive behavior Red Bull contains a significant amount of caffeine. Caffeine is a stimulant that can lead to physical and psychological dependency. Regular use of these drinks may lead to dependency, and it can lead to increased tolerance meaning you will want more if it after time being to achieve the same effect. And if you try to reduce the amount of intake you can experience withdrawal symptoms like headache, cravings, fatigue. Another behavior you can experience is that when your alertness starts to fade out or you starting to feel the tiredness than you might want to have another drink to overcome those effects. Since it can be addictive, high caffeine intake can also cause insomnia, restlessness, dehydration, and digestive problems.
• Heart failure Again the increase consumption of caffeine can lead to tachycardia, in some cases it can cause irregular heart rhythms, one study shows that “After the consumption of Red bull®, there was a decrease in the velocities of the carotid arteries and the middle cerebral artery as well as a decrease in cardiac output accompanied by a decrease in heart rate and a slight, although not significant, increase in systolic and diastolic blood pressures.”
• Tooth decay Regular intake of energy drink can decrease the enamel mineral content which lead to the formation of cavities which eventually lead to tooth decay, red bull is a carbonated drink which provide it Acidic pH and the main cause of tooth decay with sugar amount in it.
• Weight gain Drinking it regularly and more than one definitely going to increase blood sugar level and increasing calorie intake too which can lead to weight gain and increase risk of obesity, research shows that high caffeine intake regularly with sugar combination disrupts appetite leading to excessive eating which lead to obesity. Excessive sugar intake is also linked to insulin resistance and causing type 2 diabetes.
