Pharmacology (Mechanism of action):
It inhibits the action of plasmin and acts as a coagulant. It mainly prevents bleeding.

Indications:
Leukaemia
Hypostatic anaemia
Abnormal bleeding (pulmonary, nasal, renal, genital or after prostate surgery.
Urticaria, eczema, day rash, toxic exanthema (erythema, swelling or itching)
Pharyngolaryngitis, tonsillitis (Pharyngodynia, redness, hyperemia or swelling)
Stomatitis pain in mucosal aphtha or oral cavity.
Post-partum haemorrhage
Dental extraction in patients with haemophilia.
Dosage and administration:
750-2000mg/day divided in 3-4 times.

Dose Adjustments:
Dose adjustments required for renaly impaired patients

Digestive problems
Dermatologic problems
Convulsions
Drowsiness
Retinal changes (in dogs)
Interactions:
With coagulant drugs
Contra- indications:
In patients with acquired defective color vision
In patients with sub-arachnoid haemorrhage
In patients with active intravascular clotting
Side effects:
Anorexia
Nausea/vomiting
pyrosis
Itching
Rash
Storage:
Store below 30 degree celcius.
Protect from sunlight and moisture
